Abstract:
An image display system provided with: an imaging unit mounted in a vehicle, the imaging unit capturing images of the periphery of the vehicle; a display unit for displaying a captured image captured by the imaging unit; an imaging range change unit for changing the imaging range of the imaging unit when the vehicle is stopped; a comparison unit for comparing the captured image before the imaging range is changed by the imaging range change unit and the captured image after the imaging range is changed, and calculating a difference value between the two captured images; and a determination unit for determining the presence of abnormality in the imaging unit on the basis of the difference value.
