Abstract:
The problem of the present invention is to provide an image-forming method and an image-forming device that yield excellent gloss, color gamut, pinning, and substrate adhesion. This image-forming method includes a treatment liquid coating step, an ink coating step, and a drying step, and is characterized in that: in the treatment liquid coating step, a substrate is coated with a treatment liquid containing a solvent and a material dissolved in water and having ionic properties; in the ink coating step, a coating of an ink containing a pigment, and inorganic particles or organic particles, and a solvent is applied; and in at least one drying step of the drying step, the coating film is dried by irradiation with microwaves.
