Abstract:
An image generating device (30) which generates a composite image (10C) from partial images (11C, 12C, 13C, 14C) which are cropped from captured images wherein portions of subject regions overlap comprises: correction means (S103-S111) for correcting a subject partial image with an adjacent first or second adjacent partial image as a reference partial image; generating means (S105-S106) for generating a first or second look-up table which approximates the density characteristic of the subject partial image in either an overlapping first or second common region with the first or second adjacent partial image; and a mixing transform means (S111) for transforming the density of the subject partial image such that the impact of the first look-up table increases the nearer the pixels are in location to the first adjacent partial image, and the impact of the second look-up table increases the nearer the pixels are in location to the second adjacent partial image.
