Abstract:
An image encoding/decoding method and apparatus are provided. The image decoding method, performed by the image decoding apparatus, according to the present disclosure comprises the steps of: determining whether or not to parse first information indicating whether or not a skip mode is applied to a current block; determining whether or not to parse second information indicating whether or not an intra block copy (IBC) mode is applied to the current block; on the basis of the first information and the second information, determining whether or not to apply the IBC mode to the current block; and deriving a prediction block of the current block on the basis of whether or not the IBC mode has been applied, wherein whether or not to parse the first information may be determined on the basis of at least one of the width and height of the current block.
