Abstract:

This image pickup apparatus is provided with: a wiring board; an image pickup section having an image pickup element mounted on the wiring board; a frame-like housing, which houses the image pickup section, and which has an opening formed therein in the optical axis direction of the image pickup section; a top cover that is disposed on the housing; a light source that emits light to be radiated to the outside through the top cover; a light guide body that guides the light emitted from the light source; and a light block body that blocks light at a surrounding area of the image pickup section. The image pickup section, the light guide body, and the light block body are disposed with a space from the top cover, and the housing has a top cover supporting section at least a part of which supports the top cover at a circumferential end of the opening.
