Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an image processing device, an image processing method, a program, and an image-capturing device that synthesize an appropriate character or character string into an image. The above problem is solved by an image processing device comprising: an image acquisition unit which acquires a time-series image group; a character selection unit which selects characters or character strings from the image group; an image selection unit which selects, from the image group, a target image for which characters or character strings are combined; a layout determination unit which determines the layout of characters or character strings in the image of the target image; and a combining unit which combines characters or character strings on the target image on the basis of the layout.
