Abstract:
The present invention analyzes a reference image of the same field of view as a plurality of band images constituting a multispectral image and calculates a local dispersion value or edge amount as an image feature quantity, calculates a filter parameter from the image feature quantity, and executes smoothing on the band images using the filter parameter while preserving edges. When a multispectral image is acquired that includes band images of a wavelength band with which a sufficient signal amount cannot be obtained, it is possible to improve the SN ratio of the multispectral image without losing edges.
