Abstract:
The present invention improves the accuracy of identifying a vehicle model from a captured image of a vehicle. A shape identification unit (11) identifies the type of appearance of the vehicle from the captured image of the vehicle, and a classification unit (12) classifies the type of the vehicle on the basis of a plurality of images obtained by photographing the vehicle at different distances according to the type of appearance of the vehicle.
