Abstract:

This image processing device comprises: a reliability calculation unit that calculates the reliability of the results of character recognition processing carried out on a text image that is the subject of character recognition processing, such calculation being performed on the basis of a format-related characteristic amount of a characteristic-item character string included in the text image; and an image output unit that outputs an image of the character recognition processing results which shows the characteristic-item character string in a display form which is in accordance with the reliability.
