Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an image processing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium, which relate to the technical field of image and video processing. The implementation solution is as follows: obtaining a residual coefficient matrix of a target image, the residual coefficient matrix comprising at least one non-zero coefficient; determining a maximum scanning ordinal for the residual coefficient matrix; sequentially reading a predetermined number of residual coefficients in the residual coefficient matrix by using a horizontal scanning means; for the read residual coefficients, updating an encoding quantity parameter for the residual coefficient matrix on the basis of an ordinal comparison result of a scanning ordinal of each residual coefficient in the read residual coefficients with the maximum scanning ordinal and a coefficient value of each residual coefficient in the read residual coefficients; and after all of the residual coefficients in the residual coefficient matrix are read, determining an encoding bit number of the residual coefficient matrix on the basis of a final encoding quantity parameter, the scanning ordinal of the residual coefficients being determined on the basis of a preset scanning means that is different from the horizontal scanning method.
