The present disclosure relates to an image processing method and apparatus, and an electronic device and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a first image and a second image; performing coordinate transformation on the first image and the second image, so as to respectively obtain a first area of the first image in a global coordinate system and a second area of the second image in the global coordinate system; determining the degree of similarity between a first target object and a second target object; and when the degree of similarity is greater than or equal to a similarity threshold, merging the first target object and the second target object.
