Abstract:
Provided is an image projection device comprising: a first image irradiation part (40) that performs irradiation with first light; a first light incidence part (22) on which the first light is incident; an optical waveguide part (21) that guides part of the first light as guided light while totally reflecting the part of the first light; a light-guiding plate part (20) that has a first light emission part for emitting part of the guided light in a viewing point direction; and a diffraction grating part (10) provided on the first light incidence part (22). The first light emission part comprising a beam splitter (23) provided in the optical waveguide part (21), and a retroreflection part (24) provided at an end of the optical waveguide part (21).
