Abstract:
An image recording device 5 comprises: a storage device 5c which stores image information of a plurality of endoscopic images of an examination subject, obtained by capturing images using an endoscope, in association with examination subject specifying information specifying the examination subject, and case information; a communication unit 27 which acquires schedule information, which is information relating to an examination or a treatment and which includes the examination subject specifying information and the case information, corresponding to a prescribed period; an information comparing unit 23 which, on the basis of the examination subject specifying information and the case information, determines the presence or absence of a correlation between the image information stored in the storage device 5c and the schedule information; and a data management unit 22 which deletes image information for which it is determined that neither the examination subject specifying information nor the case information have a correlation with the schedule information, if a remaining capacity of the storage device 5c drops to or below a first threshold TH1.
