Abstract:
Provided are an image recording material and an application thereof, the image recording material comprising a substrate, and an inkjet image disposed on the substrate, wherein: the inkjet image includes a cholesteric liquid crystal layer; the cholesteric liquid crystal layer has, in a cross section along the thickness direction of the inkjet image, a striped pattern of a bright portion and a dark portion, as observed with a scanning electron microscope; and at least a portion of a line indicating the bright portion or the dark portion is a wavy line.
