Abstract:
This imaging device has an imaging element, a determination circuit, and a control circuit. When the imaging device is operating in the second operation mode, the determination circuit determines the brightness of an image. If the determination circuit determines that the brightness is less than or equal to a first brightness, then the control circuit raises the imaging sensitivity of the imaging element. If, after the control circuit raises the imaging sensitivity, the determination circuit determines that the brightness is less than or equal to a second brightness that is less than the first brightness, then the control circuit causes the imaging device to operate in the first operation mode.
