Abstract:
An imaging device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a plurality of pixels respectively having photoelectric conversion units that perform photoelectric conversion of light; color filters provided to the pixels; a separation unit provided between adjacent ones of the photoelectric conversion units; a structure having a gap provided between adjacent ones of the color filters; and a metal compound layer provided on the photoelectric conversion units in a portion between the color filters and the photoelectric conversion units. The structure is provided from portions each between adjacent ones of the color filters to a portion on a metal compound layer, and is connected to the separation unit.
