Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an imaging device with which the load for processing a reduced image in a logic unit can be decreased. [Solution] An imaging device according to one embodiment of this disclosure comprises: a sensor unit that generates image data of a reference image, in which a region to be imaged is captured at a resolution with a maximum angle of view, and image data of a reduced image, in which the region to be imaged is captured at a lower resolution than that of the reference image; and a logic unit that processes the image data. The sensor unit includes: a pixel array unit having a plurality of pixels, each pixel generating an analog pixel signal obtained by photoelectric conversion of incident light from the region to be imaged; a row selection unit that selects, from the pixel array unit, a pixel for outputting the analog pixel signal in accordance with the resolution; and a signal processing unit that digitally processes the analog pixel signal of the pixel selected by the row selection unit to generate image data, and that shows the resolution in the image data and outputs the image data to the logic unit.
