Abstract:
This imaging element is provided with multiple pixels that generate a pixel signal in response to incident light, and a setting unit that sets an exposure condition for each of multiple blocks, each of which includes at least two of the aforementioned pixels, wherein the setting unit sets an exposure condition for each block such that in each of the blocks, the difference in exposure conditions between blocks is less than or equal to a threshold value.
