Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel immune checkpoint inhibitor which has not been reported before. Provided is an immune checkpoint inhibitor which is characterized by including, as an active ingredient, a plant fermentation product which is a mixture of the fermentation products in (a) to (g): (a) a koji mold fermentation product of one or more beans or grains selected from the group consisting of barley, black soybeans, red rice, black rice, adzuki beans, adlay, Japanese barnyard millet, foxtail millet, and proso millet; (b) a yeast and/or lactic acid bacteria fermentation product of one or more fruits selected from the group consisting of mandarin oranges, grapes, apples, Vitis coignetiae berries, peaches, persimmons, papayas, Japanese pears, watermelons, Japanese apricots, figs, Chinese quince fruit, kabocha squash, kumquats, yuzu, loquat fruit, apricots, jujubes, chestnuts, matatabi fruit, and Japanese plums; (c) a yeast and/or lactic acid bacteria fermentation product of one or more root vegetables/potatoes selected from the group consisting of purple sweet potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes, carrots, onions, sweet potatoes, taros, Japanese wild yam, daikon, red turnips, great burdock, lotus roots, yacón, lily bulbs, arrowhead, ginger, garlic, and turmeric; (d) a yeast and/or lactic acid bacteria fermentation product of one or more flowers/leafy vegetables selected from the group consisting of cabbage, perilla, Morus leaves, fish mint, Japanese mugwort, Sasa veitchii, and dandelions; (e) a yeast and/or lactic acid bacteria fermentation product of one or more types of seaweed selected from the group consisting of kelp, wakame, and mozuku; (f) a yeast and/or lactic acid bacteria fermentation product of one or more seeds selected from the group consisting of black sesame, walnuts, and ginkgo nuts; and (g) a yeast and/or lactic acid bacteria fermentation product of one or more mushrooms selected from the group consisting of maitake and shiitake.
