Abstract:
This implant placement device is provided with: a sheath, which has a longitudinal axis, and has a cut-out section, into which part of a coil-shaped metal wire implant is inserted, formed in the outer peripheral surface at the tip thereof; a long shaft member, which has an open section at the tip-side thereof, is inserted inside the sheath so as to be able to move along the longitudinal axis, and is provided with a lumen which is connected with the open section and in which the implant is arranged in a stretched-out state; a stylet, which is provided inside the lumen so as to be able to move therein in the longitudinal axis direction and so as to be able to rotate around the longitudinal axis; and an operation part which is provided on the base-end side of the sheath, and which is for rotating the sheath about the longitudinal axis.
