Abstract:
Provided is a ready-made implement to be worn on the outer ear that has excellent fit and high stability.　This implement to be worn on the outer ear has a cylindrical ear canal insertion part and a cavum conchae part that lie on a virtual spherical plane. When the cylindrical ear canal insertion part has been inserted into the ear canal, the ear canal insertion part can rotate around the long axis thereof.　Because the ear canal insertion part and the cavum conchae part lie on the same virtual spherical plane, when the ear canal insertion part has been inserted into the ear canal, the cavum conchae part lies along the inner wall of the cavum conchae. Thus, when the ear canal insertion part as inserted into the ear canal is rotated around the long axis thereof or displaced in the axial direction thereof, the cavum conchae part presents very little resistance, and the implement will be in surface contact with the front upper wall of the ear canal. As a result, the implement will be in surface contact with the upper front wall in ear canals of various shapes and sizes and will be held by the cavum conchae and the antilobium, which makes it possible to achieve high stability. In addition, the convex shape of the cavum conchae part keeps unnecessary adhesion to a minimum, and preventing adhesion on the lower wall side of the ear canal provides a venting effect and makes for excellent fit.
