Abstract:
Provided is an in-vehicle backup power supply control device or an in-vehicle backup power supply capable of externally reporting the status of a power storage unit in a favorable manner while minimizing cost and size. When a main power supply (91) fails, a control device (20) applies a voltage from a power storage unit (92) to a backup subject load (94). The control device (20) is provided with: a charging/discharging unit (35) which charges the power storage unit (92) or discharges the power storage (92); a voltage detection unit (38) which detects the voltage of the power storage unit (92); a control unit (39) which controls the operation of the charging/discharging unit (35); and a signal interruption unit (37) which, when a voltage value (Vout) of the power storage unit (92) detected by the voltage detection unit (38) is less than a predetermined first threshold value (Th1), interrupts external signal output by the control unit (39).
