Abstract:
This in-vehicle computer is provided with a physical resource comprising a processor having a register and a plurality of physical devices each having a register, and generates a plurality of virtual devices by performing time-division on the physical resource and allocating the time-divided physical resources. When switching is made from a first virtual device to a second virtual device, a register value for the processor of the first virtual device is saved, and a register value for the processor of the second virtual device is restored, and when switching is made from the first virtual device to the second virtual device, a determination is made as to whether or not there is a need to change the register value for a physical device to be used by the second virtual device, and, in the case when it is determined that a change needs to be made, the register value for the physical device of the second virtual device is restored in said physical device.
