Abstract:
An indoor air conditioner installed in a ceiling space through an opening (O) formed in the ceiling of a given space (S) is provided with: a casing (45); a utility heat exchanger (42) disposed in the casing (45); connection pipes (31A, 31B), one end of which communicates with the utility heat exchanger (42) and the other end of which passes through a side wall (47) of the casing (45) and extends to the outside of the casing (45); and, flareless joint members (60A, 60B) provided to the other end of the connection pipes (31A, 31B) and connected to communication pipes (12A, 12B). When the casing (45) is installed in the ceiling space through the opening (O), the end sections of the flareless joint members (60A, 60B) are positioned inside the opening (O).
