Abstract:
An induction cooker (100) is provided with: a top plate (2) on which an object to be heated is placed; a body (1) having the top plate (2); a first induction heating area (3) which is formed on the top plate (2) and on which the object to be heated is placed; a second induction heating area (4) which is formed on the top plate (2) separately from the first induction heating area (3) and on which the object to be heated is placed; and a control unit. The control unit is configured so as to control the drive of a first heating coil (5) and a second heating coil (6) so that thermal efficiency when the object to be heated placed on the second induction heating area (4) is heated by the second heating coil (6) will be higher than or equal to thermal efficiency when the object to be heated is placed on the first induction heating area (3) and heated by the first induction heating coil (5).
