Abstract:

Provided are a device and a method for, in accurate association with the location of an actual object in an actual 3D space, converting a registered-information set point (POI) into a coordinate system with the location of an information processing device as the origin, and displaying the registered information on a display unit in relation to the location and orientation of the information processing device. The provided device and method involve: inputting an anchor serving as a reference image depicting the actual object, and display control data in which location information (location, orientation, etc.) as virtual 3D space coordinates of the registered-information set point and the anchor is recorded; detecting the anchor from the captured image; identifying the location of the information device in the virtual 3D space; and on the basis of the identified 3D position and the location information for the registered-information set point recorded in the display control data, displaying a point location by calculating the 3D position in a terminal coordinate system and the display position in the 2D coordinate system of a display device.
