Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an information processing device, and an information processing method which enable, by using three-dimensional information of an object in the surroundings of a vehicle, acquisition of the position of a surrounding vehicle appropriately, and also pertains to a program. In the present invention, a camera captures an image of the surrounding of an own vehicle, and a region of a vehicle in the surroundings of the own vehicle in the captured image is detected as a frame. Three-dimensional information of an object in the surroundings of the own vehicle is detected, and a three-dimensional box indicating the position of the vehicle in the surroundings of the own vehicle is generated on the basis of the three-dimensional information. The three-dimensional box is compensated on the basis of the frame, and surrounding information is generated by locating the three-dimensional box. The present invention can be applied to an on-vehicle system.
