Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program, with which a real space image can be converted to a virtual space image while accurately reflecting the relation (interaction) to a person or object in the real space. In this invention, a real space image that includes a user and a person or object in the vicinity of the user is obtained from an imaging device, a relationship (interaction) indicating an action carried out by the user with respect to the person or object is extracted from the real space image, the user and the person or object are converted to an avatar and a virtual object in a virtual space on the basis of the relationship, thereby converting the real space image to and generating a virtual space image. The present disclosure is applicable to a virtual space display system.
