Abstract:
[Problem] To enable the information used for recognizing an object in real space to be acquired in a more suitable manner. [Solution] An information processing device provided with an estimation unit for estimating a normal in at least some of surfaces of an object in real space on the basis of polarization information that corresponds to the detection result of each of a plurality of polarized lights acquired by a polarization sensor and mutually differing in the direction of polarization, and a control unit for controlling output of notification information for inducing a change of position in real space in accordance with the result of estimation of the normal.
