Abstract:
The present technology pertains to an information processing system, an information processing device and a method, and a program that can realize, by a plurality of devices, visual performance effect even in a case where the devices do not exhibit high real-time responses. The information processing system includes devices held by a plurality of participants to an event and a distribution server. The devices are each provided with: a detection unit that detects, from a seat of the corresponding participant in the event site, seat identification information for identifying the seat and access information for acquiring a display pattern for individual seats; a first communication unit that transmits the seat identification information to the distribution server, on the basis of the access information, and receives, from the distribution server, the display pattern and clock-time information indicating display start clock time for the display pattern; and a first control unit that starts display of the display pattern at the display start clock time. The distribution server is provided with a second communication unit that receives the seat identification information from each of the devices, and transmits, to the device, the display pattern for the corresponding seat indicated by the seat identification information and the clock time information. The present technology can be applied to a giant canvas system.
