Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an information processing system or the like capable of extracting only an edge of a near or far object. [Solution] According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is an information processing system or the like comprising an image selection unit that selects at least two images from among a plurality of images acquired along a plurality of objects extending side by side, a difference image generation unit that obtains difference values between the selected two images on the basis of pixel value information relating to each of the selected images to generate a difference image obtained by extracting a difference region having the difference values each equal to or larger than a predetermined reference value, an edge detection image generation unit that generates an edge detection image obtained by detecting an edge in at least one of the two images, and an edge extraction image generation unit that combines the difference image and the edge detection image to generate an edge extraction image obtained by extracting an edge corresponding to the difference region.
