Abstract:
Provided is an information processing system with which it is possible to configure an avatar that more realistically reflects the condition of a user.
This information processing system is provided with: a terminal device which acquires vital data including a rate of variation in the heartbeat of a user, and which transmits the acquired vital data in realtime by way of a communication network; and an information processing server which processes the vital data transmitted from the terminal device. The information processing server stores the vital data, estimates the condition of the user on the basis of the rate of variation in the heartbeat, creates display data for displaying an avatar reflecting the estimation result, and upon receiving, by way of the communication network, a transmission request for the display data, transmits the display data to the request origin.
