Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an information sending and receiving method, and a communication device. On the one hand, the method comprises: a network device configures first information, wherein the first information comprises a first field and/or a second field, the first field comprises information indicating an energy-saving state of a terminal device, and the second field comprises information indicating the length of time at which the terminal device maintains the energy-saving state; and then, the network device sends the first information to the terminal device. On the other hand, the method comprises: the terminal device receives the first information sent by the network device; and then, the terminal device reads the first field and/or the second field, and adjusts its own energy-saving state according to the read information. The technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present application can reduce the energy consumption of the terminal device to a certain text.
