Abstract:
An information terminal device (10) having: a plate-like conductive housing (20a) having a first principal surface, a second principal surface (S2), and a lateral surface connecting these principal surfaces; and a display provided on the first principal surface. The conductive housing (20a) has a slit (20c) extending from the first principal surface to the second principal surface (S2) formed therein. A power supply coil connected to an IC element for an HF-band RFID system is positioned in the vicinity of the slit (20c). The power supply coil is magnetically coupled to the conductive housing (20a) via the slit (20c). As a result, the conductive housing (20a) can be used as a radiating element for an HF-band RFID system.
