Abstract:
Provided are an inkjet ink for forming an infrared absorbing image and an application thereof, the inkjet ink containing an infrared absorbing material represented by formula (A), an aqueous organic solvent, and water, wherein the content of the aqueous organic solvent is 5-45 mass%, and the proportion of a solvent species X having a SP value of 27.5 MPa1/2 or more in the aqueous organic solvent is 50 mass%. Z1 and Z2 each independently represent a non-metal atom group which forms a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring, R1 and R2 each independently represent a substituent, L1 represents a methine chain composed of an odd number of methines, and a and b are each independently 0 or 1. X1 represents an anion or a cation, and c represents a number necessary to balance the charge, but X2 is not present when the charge of Cy is neutralized.
