Abstract:
Provided are an inkjet recording device and a method for manufacturing a drying cylinder with which uneven drying is minimized while recording medium slippage is suppressed. The abovementioned problem is solved by means of an inkjet recording device comprising an inkjet head that applies ink to a recording surface of a recording medium to form an image, and a drying cylinder that heats the recording medium due to the ink-applied recording surface of the recording medium being brought into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the drying cylinder, the outer circumferential surface of the drying cylinder having a maximum static friction coefficient of 0.54 or less and an arithmetic mean roughness of 1.6 or higher, and the amount of solvent in the ink on the recording surface that comes into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the drying cylinder being 200 μg/cm2 or less.
