Abstract:
There is provided a multifunction peripheral 10 configured to perform image recordation on a sheet 12 by ejecting ink thereto. The multifunction peripheral 10 includes: a head 38 including a nozzle 39 configured to eject ink; a carriage 40 supporting the head 38; a storage portion 80 storing therein ink and supported by the carriage 40 at a position above the nozzle 39; a valve 89 movable between an opening position opening an air communication opening 88 through which the interior and exterior of the storage portion 80 are communicated with each other and a closing position closing the air communication opening 88; a solenoid 93 configured to move the valve 89; a state sensor configured to detect the state of the multifunction peripheral 10 to output a detection signal based on the detection results; and a controller 130. The controller 130 controls, when determining the multifunction peripheral 10 has an abnormality on the basis of the detection signal, the solenoid 93 to move the valve 89 to the closing position.
