Abstract:
An input device (1) is provided with a housing (2), an operation unit (3), an attachment unit (8), an optical power generation unit (4), and a signal processing unit (7). The operation unit (3) is movable with respect to the housing (2). The attachment unit (8) is used for attachment of the housing (2). The optical power generation unit (4) is held by the housing (2) and generates electric power by light entering from a side of the housing (2) on which the attachment unit (8) is disposed. The signal processing unit (7) activates upon receiving the electric power generated by the optical power generation unit (4) and transmits notification information, by wireless communication, that is generated in correspondence to the movement of the operation unit (3).
