Abstract:
This input device is provided with a touch sensor which has a touch surface for receiving input, a pressure detection unit which detects the amount of pressure on the touch surface, a tactile presentation unit which causes the touch surface to vibrate, and a drive control unit which drives the tactile presentation unit in response to the pressing amount detected by the pressure detection unit, wherein the drive control unit performs first driving of a tactile presentation unit when the pressing amount detected by the pressing detection unit has exceeded a prescribed first threshold value, and performs second driving of the tactile presentation unit when the pressing amount, after shifting from increasing to decreasing at a conversion point detected by the pressing detection unit, falls below a second threshold value that is calculated on the basis of the conversion point at which said pressing amount switches from increasing to decreasing.
