This insulating molded body includes a thermosetting resin mixture, wherein the thermosetting resin mixture includes a thermosetting resin and oblate spherical hollow resin beads, the oblate spherical hollow resin beads have a hollow section and an outer shell comprising a thermoplastic resin surrounding the hollow section, and the oblate spherical hollow resin beads are oriented in the thickness direction in the thermosetting resin mixture.
