Abstract:
A motor (1) is provided with a case (10), an electrically conductive shaft (18), bearings (20, 25), a rotor core (30), a coil (15), and electrostatic shields (40, 45). Ring grooves (31a, 31b) are formed in the rotor core (30). The rotor core (30) includes a first core portion (33), a second core portion (34), and a third core portion (35). At least one of the first sore portion (33), the second core portion (34), and the third core portion (35) are formed from an insulating material. The electrostatic shields (40, 45) are disposed between the coil (15) and the electrically conductive shaft (18), and are electrically connected to an electrically conductive case portion. Part of the electrostatic shields (40, 45) is inside the ring grooves (31a, 31b).
