Abstract:
The present invention relates to an Internet-based automatic identification system and method. An Internet-based automatic identification service method, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving, from a first ship, a first message including navigation intention information by means of a first communication scheme; extracting the navigation intention information from the received first message; converting the extracted navigation intention information according to a preset navigation rule; generating a second message according to a second communication scheme by using the converted navigation intention information; and transmitting the generated second message to a second ship by means of the second communication scheme.
