Title:
INTERNET OF THINGS-BASED EARLY FIRE WARNING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/152817
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An Internet of Things-based early fire warning system and method. When a fire hazard is found within a high-rise building of a city, a fire monitoring platform (101) calculates the straight line distances between location information of registered public safety mobile stations of the city and location information of the high-rise building in which the fire hazard is found and, upon determining the presence of a target public safety mobile station (102) of which the straight line distance to the location information of the high-rise building in which the fire hazard is found is less than a specified threshold, transmits via the Internet of Things to the target public safety mobile station (102) early fire warning information comprising the location information and the building name of the high-rise building in which the fire hazard is found; and the target public safety mobile station (102) outputs the early fire warning information. This allows the outside world to learn in a timely manner that a fire hazard is found in a high-rise building, thus preventing major economic losses from being caused.
