Abstract:
An IPTV application system and a NVOD program replaying method and system. The NVOD program replaying system comprises: a network TV IPTV application system, for creating NVOD channels, and depending on the information on the created NVOD channel, generating a corresponding NVOD channel table containing attribute information on whether the NVOD channel supports time-shift operation or not; A NVOD server in communication with IPTV application system, for replaying the program specified by a provider in a multicast/unicast mode according to a specified schedule under the control of the IPTV application system. The embodiments of the present invention accomplish the time-shift function in the NVOD state, improve the experience of the users in the NVOD state, and provide a new marketing channel of On-Demand program for providers.
