Abstract:
The present invention relates to an isoprenoid (IPSQ) formation accelerator having squalene as a precursor, the accelerator being used on a plant. The present invention also relates to a method of increasing the IPSQ content of a plant, i.e., a method of producing a high-IPSQ-content plant. The present invention also relates to a novel use for jasmonate compounds.
