Abstract:
A plate set is formed by stacking multiple plate members, and a thin plate member, which is thinner than the plate members and has an insertion member attached thereto, is arranged stacked on and welded to the outside surface of said plate set. The plate members of the plate set, the thin plate member, and the insertion member are formed from aluminum or an aluminum alloy. The ratio of the total thickness of the plate set and the thin plate member to the thickness of the thin plate member is greater than or equal to 4. The insertion member comprises a shaft part, and a head part which protrudes from the outside surface of the thin plate member. A fused nugget is formed which extends from the distal end of the shaft part into the plate members. The ratio of the thickness of the fused nugget 23 located inside of the thin plate member to the thickness of the thin plate member is greater than or equal to 10%.
