Abstract:
This joining apparatus (50), which is a joining component manufacturing apparatus, comprises a pressing-force-applying means that applies a pressing force for pressing a second joining part (34) that is formed on a second workpiece (14) toward a first joining part (24) that is formed on a first workpiece (12). The joining apparatus (50) is provided with a laser light irradiation device (130) that irradiates a site where the first joining part (24) and the second joining part (34) are brought close together with laser light (L). The pressing-force-applying means and the laser light irradiation device (130) move as an integrated unit along the direction of extension of the first joining part (24) and the second joining part (34) due to a movement device (76).
