Abstract:
A joint position determination device 1 is equipped with: an image data acquisition unit 2 for acquiring image data; an estimation unit 3 for estimating a body part from the acquired image data; a marking unit 4 for marking one or more pixels with respect to an area of a body part estimated by the estimation unit 3 and with respect to an area other than the area of the body part; a division unit 5 for applying a watershed algorithm to image data subsequent to the marking by the marking unit 4, thereby dividing an area in the image data into a plurality of area segments; and a calculation unit 6 for calculating a joint position from two area segments that are included in the area segments resulting from the division by the division unit 5 and correspond to a body part adjacent to a joint.
