Abstract:

The present invention relates to a juice extractor comprising: a main body provided with a rotating driving shaft; an open-top housing disposed on the upper part of the main body, and having a juice outlet and a pulp outlet on the lower part thereof distanced from each other; a lid disposed so as to cover the open upper surface of the housing, and having an ingredient inlet on one side of the upper part thereof; an open-top mesh drum disposed in the interior of the housing, and having a plurality of mesh holes on a part of the side wall thereof; a rotating brush with open top and bottom provided with at least one brush and disposed in between the inner wall of the housing and the outer wall of the mesh drum, for brushing the inner wall of the housing and/or the other wall of the mesh drum; and a screw connected to the driving shaft so as to be rotatably disposed on the main body and arranged in the interior of the mesh drum, and having a screw helical thread on the outer surface thereof, wherein the a plurality of catching grooves are provided along the bottom outer circumference of the screw, and a plurality of coupling parts extending inward are provided along the bottom inner circumference of the rotating brush, and as the coupling parts are coupled with the catching grooves of the screw, the rotating brush rotates along with the screw when the latter rotates.
