Title:
KEY GENERATION DEVICE, KEY UTILIZATION DEVICE, AND KEY GENERATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/106334
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A key generation device for achieving high-accuracy authentication for biometric encryption and biometric signatures that are based on feature vectors in a high-dimensional Euclidean space. The key generation device: stores a first feature vector that indicates the features of first biological information and parameters for specifying a sphere packing arrangement that has a density that is less than 1 but greater than a prescribed value or a sphere covering arrangement that has a density that is at least 1 but lower than a prescribed value; specifies a sphere packing arrangement or a sphere covering arrangement on the basis of the parameters; selects a first point that is included in the specified sphere packing arrangement or sphere covering arrangement; performs a prescribed first conversion on the first point to generate a first key; and generates a template that corresponds to the first biological information on the basis of the first feature vector and the first point.
